The Mission
House of Cards Studio & Gallery wishes to showcase artful decks, books, and cards by local New Mexican artists. a place for reflection, conversation, and play—where the humble card, page, and postcard act as intimate stages where image, word, and symbol meet, helping people explore their own stories in dialogue with myth, history, and the natural world.
The studio is a place for artist, Denise Weaver Ross, to experiment, collaborate, and create. The gallery aspires to grow into a welcoming neighborhood destination where visitors discover unique art, participate in readings and gatherings, and feel invited to return, reshuffle the deck, and see something new each time. The Vision
House of Cards Studio & Gallery creates and exhibits artist-designed books, cards and decks that fuse art and poetry, myth and daily life. Through layered imagery and thoughtful writing, these works invite viewers and readers to slow down, ask questions, and discover new connections between their own stories and the wider world.
Location
The House of Cards Studio & Gallery is located at 3812 Central Avenue SE #B1C, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
It is just a couple of blocks east of Carlisle on the south side of Central. Enter from the back parking lot located on Silver NS Solano.

Hours
We are currently in the process of setting up the gallery. The gallery will be open starting on September 4 from 2-6pm on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.
The grand opening is scheduled for October 3, 2026.
